None of the experts predicted the economic mess we are in currently. Too many think the issues are solved. As a trend follower and commodity trader I would prefer to react. However if you are looking to make money…one of the more interesting sectors due to liquidity and transparency is managed futures and commodity trading. At the end of the day commodities are real…If there is hyper inflation ( prices go up) would you rather own dollars or something that someone can eat? As experienced in all other crisises…commodity trading has made money when there is a crisis( as long as the manager maintains a strong risk profile).
