Barclay’s Commodity trading Advisors Index Aug 2009

I wanted to share with you the commodity trading advisors index for August 2009. This year commodity trading advisors have been struggling. To the unsophiscated investor…this could a sign to exit the strategy. However all strategies have their strong periods of performance as well weak. The key to long term wealth building is to be committed, disciplined and patient. No other strategy such as managed futures offers such liquidity and potential for return. More so the commodity trading advisors are under the auspices of the NFA. One of the best strategies to consider in managed futures is to have a managed account. This prevents the Madoff potential. The commodity trading advisor does not have access to your money but rather can just perform trades.
See how your commodity trading advisor compares to the Barclay’s report.
