Banks Around the World Are Failing!
You probably only thought the banks in the US are failing. Well approx 98 banks have failed in the US this year alone. Last year there was a run on Northern Rock in the UK. This week the Dutch govt intervened to prevent a run on the bank DSB. I wonder when all green shoots are starting to take hold ( or wither & die). If this was truly the case why are banks failing, unemployment increasing and foreclosures increasing?
DSB had at the start of October 1.5 billion euros in cash ג€“ and 4.3 billion euros in deposits. The Dutch Govt claimed that failed because of the way it sold loans to customers. Regardless without being dramatic, these are challenging times for all of us.
