andy-0101 My name in Andrew Abraham. I have been investing in commodities and managed futures since 1994. I adhere to the philosophy of trend following. Trend following stresses a disciplined approach to commodity/ futures trading. Successful trend following and commodity futures investing requires patience, discipline and actively managing the risk. What sets me apart from other traders is that I am not only concerned about the return on investment but how much risk I will have to tolerate to achieve my goals.

Fax to The Honorable Judge Martin Glenn regarding MF Global Bankruptcy

Honorable Judge Martin Glenn,

I want to express my outrage after reading the Bloomberg article in which the MF Global Trustee’s attorney stated

“I don’t think there’s any merit to the idea we’re in bed with the bank,” Kobak said, saying his law firm, Hughes Hubbard & Reed, has only done minor work for JPMorgan and isn’t conflicted.

On Hughes Hubbard & Reid LLC website they list 6 pages of work with JP Morgan.

Just the first two lines of only page 1 is $400 million dollars in transactions
http://www.hugheshubbard.com/search.aspx?keyword=jp%20morgan&p=1
This is minor work?
Another example of minor work is that Hughes Hubbard represented JPMorgan Chase Bank, N.A. and Citibank, N.A. as lead arrangers and agents for the $12.25 billion in financing provided in connection with the separation of Viacom Inc. into two publicly-traded companies.
Is $12.25 billion dollars on a Viacom deal also minor work?
Another example is Hubbard Hughes Reid LLC “minor work” was joining JP Morgan in a representation of the Navajo Nation to serve as its gaming counsel.
Hughes Hubbard joined JP Morgan Chase, Citigroup, KPMG and GVA Marquette as advisors to the Nation, which has over $500 million in annual revenues and $2 billion in assets, with over 6,500 employees.
Minor work again?
Has the Trustee, Giddens been truthful to you regarding JP Morgan? How can there not be a conflict of interest?
Another troubling issue is Trustee Giddens call center. Trustee Giddens applauded himself to the court this week in a filing revealing the Trustee has responded to thousands of calls. These centers are organized to answer questions applicable to the 400 security clients only. So why was a call center set up for over 136,000 commodity clients and customers if there are no answers? If you’ve tried, you know that calling the Trustee Call centers for guidance turns into a bizarre exchange with a hapless individual reading a script. And if you haven’t called yet, don’t waste your time. The Trustee and his army of 11.00/hour telephone operators have no information relevant to Commodity Customers and Clients.
You will be read an irrelevant and absurd answer that has nothing to do with anything concerning recovery of your titled funds. And if they call you back, it will be the same script read again. Every useless call taken, every worthless call back is charged to the MF Global estate.
How you handle this case will determine not just if the Futures markets will exist in the future; rather Whether the US financial markets will have any integrity. If client segregated brokerage accounts can be pulled into a bankruptcy why can’t client accounts of a bank or even a stock brokerage accounts be violated?

We have been violated and the Trustee is continuing to violate the customers of MF Global via his outrageous hourly fees, destruction of integrity of the financial markets, ineptitude of his call center, $5000 dollar misdirected wire fee and his conflict of interest with his so called “minor work” with JP Morgan.

This is not about just some farmers or commodity traders. This is the integrity of the Financial markets. We need justice to prevail.
