Andrew Abraham

andy-0101 My name in Andrew Abraham. I have been investing in commodities and managed futures since 1994. I adhere to the philosophy of trend following. Trend following stresses a disciplined approach to commodity/ futures trading. Successful trend following and commodity futures investing requires patience, discipline and actively managing the risk. What sets me apart from other traders is that I am not only concerned about the return on investment but how much risk I will have to tolerate to achieve my goals.

Trend Following Course Review

I asked my colleague Gerald Rehn from Abu Dhabi to review my course. He was more than kind not just to proof read but make valuable comments in which I will pass on.

Hi Andy,

Great idea and I would be happy to participate.

I had some time tonight to go through this and looks like it will be a very interesting course. I have made tracked changes and comments within the documents themselves and attache these. Hope my comments are clear, but please let me know any questions or further info required on this.

Thanks,
Gerald

  • I got accepted into the University of Toronto on April 1st with the following marks (February OUAC marks). Please keep in mind that my school is not semestered, that is why I have all 6 courses at once.

February OUAC marks (what acceptance was based on):
    English 84
    Computer Science 92
    Calculus and Vectors 89
    Advanced Functions 86
    Biology 88
    Chemistry 81
    AVERAGE 86.7

My April OUAC marks were (they didn’t see this before accepting me):
    English 85
    Computer Science 91
    Calculus and Vectors 91
    Advanced Functions 86
    Biology 91
    Chemistry 80
    AVERAGE 87.3

How much can I drop before they take back their acceptance? They don’t see my marks again until July when they conduct their final review of marks. I have already dropped to around 86.3 and with the help of exams, that trend is sure to continue. In the package, it says I have to “maintain my current academic standard”.

How much can I drop before they take back their offer?

Thanks in advance for all your answers. 🙂
