Andrew Abraham

andy-0101 My name in Andrew Abraham. I have been investing in commodities and managed futures since 1994. I adhere to the philosophy of trend following. Trend following stresses a disciplined approach to commodity/ futures trading. Successful trend following and commodity futures investing requires patience, discipline and actively managing the risk. What sets me apart from other traders is that I am not only concerned about the return on investment but how much risk I will have to tolerate to achieve my goals.

30% Inflation over a 5 Year Period?

We are constantly bombarded that there is no inflation. However when one goes into the grocery stores, sticker shock is sets in. Shocking. Most people that I know do not know how to invest. I personally believe in trend following in a large managed futures portfolio. In my opinion this is possibly the only bastion of protecting wealth over time. Trend following and trading is not easy nor is it for everyone. There are always losses and long periods profits are elusive.

Look at some of these charts. Think about all the money printed over the last several years!

38% Increase in Inflation in just 5 years!

30% Increase in Inflation a 5 year period in the 1980s

Wow only 16% Inflation in the 1990s

In 2000-2005 Inflation is at an extreme low

Do you believe prices can increase 30%+ (inflation)? With all the printing of money all over the world. The better question is not if rather when. Are you prepared?

PAST PERFORMANCE IS NOT NECESSARILY INDICATIVE OF FUTURE RESULTS. THE RISK OF LOSS IN TRADING COMMODITY FUTURES, OPTIONS, AND FOREIGN EXCHANGE (“FOREX”) IS SUBSTANTIAL.
