Less is more when Trend Following
Bill O’Neil once did a study of his portfolio managers and found that there was no advantage gained by having more computer screens to watch during the trading day. Basically having more computer monitors to watch did not add to performance and in some cases seemed to cause more harm than good. Sometimes the less information overload you allow to distract you or scare you into making rash moves, the better off you are.
I have a rule to have all my orders already in the market. I look at the markets when they are closed!
