Trades Do not Have to Work $QQQ $SWKS
Too often traders think they do the research and analysis and that trades have to work. I am a firm believer that anything can happen. I was at a very large fund of funds the other day and we were discussing systematic models. They wanted to diversify from allocating to Hedge funds to having in house traders. I met two very smart CFAs however to some degree I felt they wanted to believe systematic models could avoid whip saw trades. My perfect example in my trading is I got a signal to go long the QQQ. During that day I went long the strongest stocks that were leaders.
Great…my analysis was correct…however anything can happen and actually will happen. This is why you need to try to keep your losses small.
In regard to SWKS the recent price action is not especially what you would like to see…
