Andrew Abraham

andy-0101 My name in Andrew Abraham. I have been investing in commodities and managed futures since 1994. I adhere to the philosophy of trend following. Trend following stresses a disciplined approach to commodity/ futures trading. Successful trend following and commodity futures investing requires patience, discipline and actively managing the risk. What sets me apart from other traders is that I am not only concerned about the return on investment but how much risk I will have to tolerate to achieve my goals.

When do Trends Start with Forex?

I had another situation where an aspiring trader wanted to know when a trend would start. He told me he did not want to have trades that trends did not start. To his dismay I told him, that no one knows when trends start or stop. There is no absolute way to know as we are dealing in complete uncertainty. This did not go over well. He told me all of these wonderful indicators he built ( however he has not been able to make money). Making money in the markets is very tough. What I have learned over the years is you just have to take your shot. Be consistent, put on low risk trades ( where you are risking a small amount of your account size), be disciplined and be patient. Most of all have a complete trading plan….

The vast majority do not do any of these. They listen to CNBC for tips. They think someone else knows the answer. The fact is no one does. If you want to improve your trading, I can try to help you. I have been in the markets since 1994. I can assist you with risk management, money management, trading plans and most importantly trading psychology.
